Fat Bombs

Fat bombs are the ideal dessert for the keto dieter or anyone counting carbs. These sugar-free chocolate fat bombs satisfy the sweet tooth without throwing you out of fat-burning mode.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6 packets Splenda or similar sweetener
  • optional: 1/4 cup crushed almonds

Steps:

  1. Place coconut oil and almond butter in a microwave safe bowl. Heat for 30 seconds on high. Stir.
  2. Add cocoa powder, vanilla extract, sweetener and crushed almonds. Stir until completely combined.
  3. Pour mixture into a 9″ x 9″ square pan lined with plastic wrap. Place in freezer until set. Alternatively, you can pour mixture into a cupcake pan, each cupcake lined with plastic. Or you can also use a silicone pan alone for an easy-release option.
  4. If using square pan, cut into squares and serve.
