Easy Mint Chocolate Fudge
A quick and easy mint chocolate fudge recipe made in the microwave. Simple enough even for the little kids to make!
INGREDIENTS:
1-½ cups white chocolate chips
1-½ cups milk chocolate chips
1 14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. mint extract
green food coloring
PREPARATION:
- Line an 8″ x 8″ square pan with aluminum foil.
- Place white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and heat for one minute. Stir and reheat for 30 seconds at a time, stirring in between, until chocolate is melted.
- Heat sweetened condensed milk in another bowl.
- Pour half of the sweetened condensed milk into a cup or bowl, stir in mint extract and add food coloring until a dark green is achieved. (The resulting color will be lighter once combined with the white chocolate).
- Stir green condensed milk into melted white chocolate. Set aside.
- Heat the milk chocolate the same way.
- Pour milk chocolate in pan. Top with white chocolate mixture. Swirl with a knife.
- Place fudge in refrigerator and chill for several hours until firm.
- Remove fudge from pan, peel off foil and cut into squares using a large knife.
