About Giunta’s Meat Farms
For over 35 years, Peter Levantino and Philip Giunta have worked together in the food/produce industry. Peter worked for his father at the Hunt’s point terminal market while Philip worked in his father’s supermarket. Naturally, this is how they met. After years of working together, Peter and Philip purchased their first supermarket in 1992.
Giunta’s Meat Farms provides the freshest items in produce, meat and deli to over 7 million Long Islanders. Since opening their first supermarket, Philip and Peter have expanded their business with 9 additional locations in Commack, Medford, Port Jefferson, Lake Ronkonkoma, Hauppauge, Farmingdale, Bohemia, Holbrook and Northport. In 2000, the friends and business partners opened their first produce warehouse.
